XIZICE has an advanced shield machine manufacturing base in Zhejiang Province, with localization rate as high as 73%. In 2012, the "electro-hydraulic system as key technology and industrialization for self-reliance design and manufacturing of shield" jointly developed with Zhejiang University won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress. In 2008, the first shield machine named "Xizi" was completed and used in the subway tunnel excavation projects in Nanjing and Suzhou. Now the products are exported to Thailand and Singapore, entering the international market successfully.
